Small, lightweight, handheld cold light fiberoptic transilluminator for use with neonates in the NICU or for neonatal transport. Sized right for air or land transport situations, yet has the same renowned, powerful bright white light output that has given all the PEDIASCAN® units such a respected name. Designed for heavy-duty use, the internal parts are ruggedized for optimum performance and years of serve. Single stage light. Provide affordable, atraumatic care to the smallest neonate with this compact, efficient unit. You can leave the tip on the observation site as long as you need it—the tip never gets above 94 degrees Fahrenheit.  Measurements: 5 5/16”, x 3 1/8”, x 2” – 1.3 lbs.

Battery:

• Internal rechargeable batteries (NICAD), 1.5 hour service with full charge. Battery charger is included.

Fiberoptic Cable:

• "Superflex" quartz silica glass fiberoptic cable, 0.250" (6.35mm) diameter (autoclavable), in medical grade silicone tubing fused into medical grade stainless tip.
