NEW! The new MAXISCAN® 1000 is a product with the ability to be used on any patient that requires vascular access. With a 2-stage illumination system, the MAXISCAN® has the ability to identify lV sites quickly and accurately providing atraumatic care to the patient while dramatically reducing nurse down time. This unit has all the attributes of our other transilluminators: portability with internal rechargeable batteries, proven rugged and reliable design, small size and weight, but with the added benefit of having 40% more bright white light output. The MAXISCAN® is uniquely designed for the ER, EMTs, doctor’s offices, home healthcare, skilled care nursing homes, phlebotomy, IV teams, CCUs, oncology, radiology, military field hospitals, clinics, or anywhere lV insertion is required. Compare with Model 100.  Measurements: 5 5/16" x 3 1/8" x 2"

Battery:

• Internal rechargeable batteries (NICAD), 1.5 hour service with full charge. Battery charger is included.

Fiberoptic Cable:

• "Superflex" quartz silica glass fiberoptic cable, 0.250" (6.35mm) diameter (autoclavable), in medical grade silicone tubing fused into medical grade stainless tip.
